Large & heavy porcelain platter in jeweltone polychrome transfer pattern.
Made in England c1875 with an Asiatic design. Great looking and highly functional.
Blue transfer ring at center is a raised ridge which can separate cheese from crackers, meat from juices etc. Originally an underplate for an even larger serving piece, this stray still has many functions and is priced to sell.
(The condition is very good with the exception of a fairly insignificant chip on the bottom ridge, underneath and out of view. )
